Company Overview ZETA Communities builds high performance and net zero energy modular housing, commercial structures and public facilities. Compared to conventional site-built methods, ZETA delivers dramatic speed, quality and cost advantages. ZETA’s structures and production process are energy and resource efficient, achieving LEED Gold or Platinum certifications. ZETA’s corporate headquarters are in San Francisco; its 91,000 square foot state-of-the-art factory is located in Sacramento, California, and serves the Western U.S. El Cerrito Recycling & Environmental Resource Center ZETA Communities fabricated the LEED Platinum administrative offices for the City El Cerrito’s new Recycling and Environmental Resource Center. ZETA provided preconstruction design coordination to ensure the high performance building envelope and mechanical systems achieved the net zero energy requirements. ZETA’s off-site production methods provided an accelerated schedule and high quality construction while minimizing disruption at the site. ZETA’s sustainable and energy efficient structure include FSC Lumber, dual zone energy efficient heating systems, Insta-hot water heaters, TPO Cool Roof, high performance insulation and fiber cement board siding. The 16’ clerestory windows, coupled with sensor operated lighting and high performance fiberglass windows, provide energy efficient and natural day lighting throughout the structure. The El Cerrito Recycling & Environmental Resource Center is an exemplary model of off-site construction and rapid delivery of net zero energy public facilities.
