BAXTER CREEK GATEWAY PARK 2012 Agenda Item No. 4(B) ---PAGE BREAK--- Overview • The National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit regulates all discharge into the storm drain system (affecting S.F. Bay) • El Cerrito is a co-permittee with 76 other agencies under the Municipal Regional Stormwater Permit (MRP) issued by the S.F. Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board in 2009 • The MRP requires specific measures to prohibit non- stormwater discharges and minimize stormwater pollutants including, pesticides, PCBs & trash litter ---PAGE BREAK--- MRP Provision Requirements 1.
