Dale Mead 5518 Macdonald Ave. El Cerrito, CA 94530 [PHONE REDACTED] Background: I've been doing photography since the 1970's, getting into digital at the turn of this century. I do mostly landscape photography, although I also enjoy event photography (technically photojournalism). I belong to El Cerrito Art Association and photograph their reception for their annual art show, and I have won some ribbons there. I also belong to Berkeley Camera Club and serve as Field Trip Chair, organizing field trips—currently my most consistent schedule for outdoor shooting. I have had a number of images published, including a few on the City of El Cerrito web site; Police Chief Sylvia Moir hired me for photographs for the police site and annual report. Others include a poster in the nation's Olive Tree Restaurant chain, in magazines and newspapers, and an image in the Professional Photographers of America Loan Book. In addition I do occasional local exhibits, such as the city gallery, EC Department of Motor Vehicles, Au Coquelet Cafe in Berkeley, and my own permanent rotating exhibit at Huong Tra restaurant in Richmond. Regarding preferred exhibit dates: I'm not too choose]y But fall, such as October or, better, November/December, when people are shopping for Christmas gifts, work well.
