Together the plans will propose: • New regulations for private development in the San Pablo Avenue plan area, including new building size, density, parking, sustainability and open space requirements • New policies and facilities to better accommodate bus, bicycle and pedestrian travel along San Pablo Avenue • Updated citywide bicycle and pedestrian facilities and programs • Projects and policies to increase and enhance the City’s open space. Funding for the Urban Greening Plan provided by Proposition 84 to Improve the Sustainability and Livability of California’s Communities through the Strategic Growth Council’s Urban Greening for Sustainable Communities grant program. Funding for the Active Transportation Plan provided by a Transportation Development Act (TDA), Article 3 State grant for projects designed for the benefit and use of bicyclists and pedestrians. Funding for the San Pablo Avenue Specific and Complete Streets Plans provided by the City of El Cerrito and Measure J Sales Tax
