Before planting the tree(s), the property owner must agree to maintain the watering & staking of the new tree(s) for up to two years from the date planted. The property owner also agrees to report to the El Cerrito Maintenance Division ([PHONE REDACTED]) any problem they detect in the development of the new tree within this 2 year period or at anytime during its lifetime at your address. Should tree(s) die within two years from the date planted, the property owner agrees to: Replace dead tree(s), at property owner’s expense, with tree(s) from Approved Master Tree List (at least 15-gallon container size); Apply for an encroachment permit and pay all applicable fees.
