Economic Development Committee EL CERRITO RESTAURANT WEEK Coming Early Fall 2015! WHAT & WHEN: The City of El Cerrito’s Economic Development Committee & El Cerrito’s Chamber of Commerce are planning “El Cerrito Restaurant Week,” an event tentatively scheduled for October 1 - 4th, 2015. WHY PARTICIPATE? The purpose of this event is to support our local restaurants and highlight the variety of cuisine offered in El Cerrito! We hope to build community and customer base by increasing foot traffic and restaurant visibility. The sponsors of restaurant week will develop marketing materials (newsletter, website, flyers/postcards). HOW WILL RESTAURANT OWNERS PARTICIPATE? The sponsors of El Cerrito Restaurant Week are requesting that restaurant participants offer a deal to incentivize customers to dine out during restaurant week. (Deals might include a meal discount, a free appetizer or dessert etc.) Whether to offer the deal all day or for one meal per day is up to you! WHAT WE’D LIKE TO KNOW: We are still in the planning process, but want to know now if you are interested in participating? We are not asking for a commitment today, we are gauging general interest. WHAT WE’LL SEEK OUT IN THE FUTURE: Basic restaurant information (hours, cuisine etc.) What deal you will be offering and at what times Any additional information you would like to provide – website links, photographs, social media etc. We would also like you to participate in a survey after the event to measure its success and help improve future events.
