NOTICE OF ELECTION General Election Elbert County, Colorado Tuesday, November 3, 2020 Elections in Colorado are conducted by mail ballot with Voter Service Centers available for those who would like additional assistance or prefer to vote in person. See below for a list of locations and hours/days of operation. For this General Election, ballots will be mailed beginning October 9 to all active registered voters. Ballots must be returned to the Clerk and Recorder no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day (Tuesday November 3) in order for your votes to be counted. Voters can return their ballot by mail or by dropping it off at any designated ballot drop-off location or Voter Service Center. Ballots received after 7 p.m. on Election Day will not be counted. Postmarks do not count as a received date. Adequate postage must be applied. If you need to register to vote or update your registration, please do so at www.govotecolorado.gov. The Elbert County Elections Division recommends all voters review their information to ensure their mailing address is correct. If you make a mistake, damage, or lose your ballot, you may request a replacement by emailing [EMAIL REDACTED] or calling [PHONE REDACTED] by October 26, 2020, or by visiting a Voter Service Center during the hours/days of operation listed below.
