Page 1 of 2 Alternative Compliance Checklist and Addl Information Updated 11/21/2025 ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF COMPLIANCE REQUEST CHECKLIST (FOR LANDSCAPE AND BUFFER AREA REQUIREMENTS) The following checklist needs to be completed, and all items listed within must accompany the completed application. Alternative method of compliance shall comply with the requirements of Eagle City Code 8-2A-7(O), Eagle City Code 11A-3-7(W) (Spring Valley/Valnova only), or Eagle City Code 11B-3-7(T) (Avimor only). REQUIRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS - DIGITAL ONLY: All plans and documents must be submitted as original, high-resolution digital versions (not copies, where applicable). For file naming and formatting instructions, please refer to the digital submittal standards located on the city’s website. ☐ ☐ A site plan and/or imagery of the project that articulates the applicant’s request for an alternative method of compliance. Note: Pursuant to Eagle City Code Section 8-2A-7(O), 11A-3-7(W) (Spring Valley/Valnova only), or 11B-3-7(T) (Avimor only) one or more of the following conditions must exist if approval is to be considered for an ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF COMPLIANCE. Please state below the criteria that applies and provide a description of the special circumstances related to the noted criteria. PROJECT CRITERIA THAT APPLY TO THIS REQUEST (SELECT ALL THAT APPLY): ☐The sites involve space limitations or unusually shaped parcels. ☐Topography, soil, vegetation, or other site conditions are such that full compliance is impossible or impractical. ☐Due to a change of an existing site, the required buffer-yard is larger than can be provided. ☐Safety considerations are involved.
