Page 1 of 2 Extension of Time – Final Plat Checklist Updated 05/08/2025 FINAL PLAT EXTENSION OF TIME SUBMITTAL CHECKLIST The following checklist needs to be completed and all items listed within must accompany the completed application. ☐ ☐ Project Name and Final Plat File Number: REQUIRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS – DIGITAL ONLY: All plans and documents must be submitted as original, high-resolution digital versions (not copies, where applicable). For file naming and formatting instructions, please refer to the digital submittal standards located on the city’s website. ☐ ☐ A complete copy of this checklist. ☐ ☐ A written narrative that provides justification for the extension of time. ☐ ☐ A schedule that depicts the anticipated progress for completion of the final plat within the year. ☐ ☐ A written statement addressing each issue below, in the order outlined: a. There are no outstanding city code or plat approval violations on the subject property. If such violations exist, they may be conditioned by the city council to be cured as a condition of the extension of time; b. The final plat, as previously approved, remains in the best interests of the health, safety, and general welfare of the city; c. Whether the application, as previously approved, remains in the best interests of the health, safety, and general welfare of the City; d. Whether there have been any significant changes to City Code between the date of preliminary plat approval and the application date of the time extension request that would require substantial modifications to the project; e. Whether there are any hazardous situations which have developed or have been discovered on the project site; f. Whether the public facilities and services required for the project remain adequate; g. A viable and acceptable plan which demonstrates that the Final Plat application will be filed within the year; and h. Requested duration of extension and the anticipated schedule of the filing of the final plat application within the next year. Failure to provide requested information in a timely manner may result in an application processing delay. ☐ I understand that the applicant and/or representative must attend all public meetings regarding this application and that failure to attend will likely result in a postponement of your application being heard and acted upon. ☐ I understand that public hearing signs must be posted by the applicant/representative prior to the Planning and Zoning Commission hearing and again prior to the City Council hearing in accordance with Eagle City Code Section 8-7-8 ☐ I understand that my application will not be deemed complete by the City until all required application materials have been accepted (including any hardcopy documents) and the necessary fees have been paid ☐ The applicant shall not construct any required improvements, including storm drainage or roadway facilities until the City has issued a “Notice to Proceed with Construction” letter (NTP). Upon receipt of the ACHD approved construction drawings and confirmation by the City Engineer that they comply with the City- approved construction drawings, the City will issue the “Notice to Proceed with Construction” to the applicant’s designated representative. ☐ I acknowledge that this application does not constitute final approval, and that additional permits, reviews, or requirements may apply. I further acknowledge that it is my responsibility to coordinate with all applicable agencies and departments – including, but not limited to, the City of Eagle Building Department, Clerk/Treasurer’s Office, Eagle Fire District, Ada County Highway District (ACHD), and any other relevant local, state, or federal agencies – to identify and satisfy all requirements associated with my proposal.
