Shreeve, Sr., Chief Building Official Subject: Final Inspections for Condominiums, Townhouses and Apartments (R-2 Occupancies) Code References Sections 7.28.570 and 7.28.630 of the Dublin Municipal Code (DMC) Final Inspection When all construction work including electrical, plumbing and mechanical work, exterior finish grading, required paving, and required landscaping is completed and the building, structure or installation is ready to be occupied or used but before being occupied or used. The Building & Safety Division will make a final inspection and release occupancy of individual dwelling units within condominium, townhouse or apartment projects provided the following items are complete: 1. The master permit(s) for the building (core and shell), have been inspected and all life safety items with the core and shell of the building are complete. 2. An approved phasing map has been obtained by the developer. 3. All life and safety requirements are complete in all dwelling units within the building. 4. All other city departments, divisions and utility agencies have approved the building for occupancy, including but not limited to: a) Planning, b) Public Works, c) Fire Prevention, d) Finance, and e) Dublin San Ramon Services District.
