1.19 ESTABLISHING CUT-OFF RECEPTION TIME FOR FILING AND RECORDING OF DOCUMENTS THE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF DOUGLAS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. AUTHORITY This ordinance is adopted pursuant to the authority of Section 59.14(3) of the Wisconsin Statutes. SECTION II. CUT-OFF RECEPTION TIME FOR FILING AND RECORDING OF DOCUMENTS The cut-off reception time for the filing and recording of documents in the Office of the Register of Deeds shall be one hour before closing on each day that said office is open to the public. For all other purposes, the office shall remain open to the public. SECTION III. EFFECTIVE DATE This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage and publication.
