4.29 SCHOOL TRESPASS ORDINANCE THE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF DOUGLAS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. VIOLATION A. It shall be unlawful for any person to go upon the grounds of any school district for the purposes of engaging in conduct which is disorderly, disruptive or otherwise detrimental to the orderly conduct of school affairs. B. It shall be unlawful for any person not engaged in legitimate school-related business to remain upon the grounds of any school district upon being requested to leave by any school district official or employee or by a law enforcement officer. It shall be unlawful for any person so requested to return to the grounds of said school district at any time without the specific permission of a school district official or employee or of a law enforcement officer. SECTION II. PENALTY Violators of this ordinance shall forfeit no less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for a first offense and no less than Twenty Dollars ($20.00) nor more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each and every subsequent offense. SECTION III. EFFECTIVE DATE This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage and publication. Dated this 15th day of April, 1993.
