Bid forms for all tracts offered are included in the respective auction file. Forms can be completed online and then printed, printed and portions completed by hand, or any combination thereof. Forms for each tract offered include the respective tract number, sale name, scale method, advertised species and product volumes, and minimum total tract value. To be considered, please remember that all submitted forms must be completed in their entirety, printed, and signed and dated. Software versions and other technical issues out of the County’s control may affect the function of the online form. In the event any function does not correctly work, forms can still be printed and information can be completed by hand. Bid Amounts: Enter bid amounts on the form as follows for both ticket scale and lump sum scale tracts:  If bidding on advertised 4” Cords, enter your Bid Price Per 4” Cord per Species.  If bidding on advertised Whole-tree Cords, enter your Bid Price Per Whole-tree Cord per Species.  If bidding on advertised Sawlogs, enter your Bid Price Per Sawlog MBF per Species.  The Total Bid Value by Species & Product, the Total Tract Bid Value, and the Bid Guarantee Bond Amount should then be automatically calculated. * The Minimum Total Tract Value shown in the form will remain red in color until that respective amount is met; at which point it will turn black in color. Bid Guarantee Bond: The required Bid Guarantee Bond Amount (10% of the Total Tract Bid Value) should be automatically calculated. Place an in the box for the respective form of bond that will accompany your bid for the tract. This is required for each form. Performance Bond: Place an in the box for the respective type of Performance Bond that you will provide if declared the successful bidder for the tract. This is required for each form. Type of Bidding Entity: Place an in the box for the respective type of organization or entity that you are bidding on behalf of. This is required for each form. Bidding Entity Information: On page 1, enter your name, your title, the organization’s name you are bidding on behalf of, your affiliated organization’s or your street address, your contact phone number (please include multiple numbers if appropriate), and your contact email address. What you enter on page 1 should then automatically be entered for all other forms in the file reducing the need to duplicate this information by hand. Print the forms. Sign and date each form with an original signature and date. All submitted forms must be signed and dated to be considered. Enclose the completed form along with your Bid Guarantee Bond in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Sealed Timber Bid Tract (and insert tract number)” and deliver to the Douglas County Forestry Department by the date and time of the bid deadline. Individual separate envelopes must be used for each tract. – The Bid Form MUST BE completed in its entirety – Bids below the minimum advertised total tract value for each species and product listed, below the minimum total advertised tract value; or incomplete, illegible, or incorrect bids will not be considered.
