5.02 SPEED ZONE ORDINANCE FOR COUNTY TRUNK HIGHWAY THE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF DOUGLAS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. SPEED LIMIT/LOCATION A traffic and engineering investigation having been made on the following described highways, the maximum permissible speed at which vehicles may be operated on aid highways, which speed is herewith established as reasonable and safe pursuant to Section 349.11,Wisconsin Statutes, shall be as set forth herein, subject to approval by the State Highway Commission, and upon the erection of standard signs giving notice thereof: No. 1 - County Trunk Highway Town of Superior, Douglas County Thirty-five miles per hour from a point 1,000 feet west of its intersection with the Mierotto Road easterly to its west junction with State Trunk Highway 35. SECTION II. PENALTY Any person violating any provision of this ordinance may be fined not less than $10.00 nor more than $200.00 or imprisoned not more than 30 days or both.
