RECREATIONAL USE PERMIT APPENDIX P-I SPECIAL CAMPING PERMIT Special Camping Permits are entered into by the Douglas County Forestry Department, and a “PERMITTEE”. Under the direction of the Director of Forestry and Natural Resources in accordance with the following regulations set forth by the Douglas County Forest, Parks, and Recreation Committee, the PERMITTEE agrees to meet the following conditions: REGISTRATION PERMIT FEE $10.00 (10 days) Douglas County Forestry Department P.O. Box 211 Solon Springs, WI 54873 PERMIT This special camping permit has been issued to you pursuant to Douglas County Forestry Ordinance # 7.2 Camp at the following location: Permit valid AND MUST BE DISPLAYED ON THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR TENT OR TRAILER IN A READILY VISIBLE AREA. Please read the reverse side. AUTHORIZED SIGNATURE & DATE REGULATIONS 1. Camp only at the designated location. 2. Permit limited to 10 days. (Maximum of 3 permits per group/site) 2,640 Ft. (1/2 mile between repeat group) 3. Maximum of 3 permits per group/site. 4. Each camping unit must have its own permit. 5. This permit includes a 200-foot privacy radius around the designated site. No one may camp within that area without permission from the permit holder. 6. No campsites may be reserved. 7. Do not cut any living trees or bushes. 8. Take all refuse with you when you leave and dispose of properly. Leave a clean campsite. 9. No campfires during WI DNR imposed fire bans. 10. All campfires must be completely extinguished before leaving the site. 11. Douglas County reserves the right to terminate this permit at any time for any reason.
