1 Douglas County SUMMER ATV Trail Report Information provided by Club Members of the Northwest Trails Association and compiled by the Douglas County Forestry Department. UPDATED 05/30/2013 ALL Year Round recreation trails managed by the Douglas County Forestry Department have opened for the season. . ADDITIONAL CONTACT INFORMATION: Tri-County Corridor – Tom Thornton -[PHONE REDACTED] ---PAGE BREAK--- All snowmobile Trails are not Summer ATV Trails. Riding these trails in the summer may damage the trail base, threaten private land ease- ments, and result in trail closures. Those found operat- ing on closed snowmobile trails may be cited. ATTENTION All ATVs that are registered outside of Wisconsin will be required to visibly and per- manently display a Nonresident ATV Trail Pass on the forward half of the ATV. The Trail Pass costs $35 and is available at any license agent. Special Attention for Illinois, Michigan or other states: Illinois and Michigan do not have an ATV registration system that is recognized in Wisconsin. You must either register your ATV in Wisconsin or purchase a valid ATV trail pass to legally operate in Wisconsin.
