Chapter 1.18B, Page 67 1.18B PRISONER FEES THE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF DOUGLAS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. AUTHORITY This ordinance is adopted pursuant to the authority under Sections 302.372 and 303.08 of the Wisconsin Statutes and are hereby adopted and by reference made part of this ordinance as if fully set forth herein. SECTION II. HUBER PRISONER FEES Each prisoner housed in the Douglas County Jail, who is gainfully employed or who receives unemployment compensation, or employment training benefits while in the custody of the Douglas County Jail, shall be liable for charges not to exceed the full per person maintenance and cost of the prisoner’s board in the jail at the rate of $18.00 per day for prisoners held by Douglas County, and $23.00 per day for prisoners held by other jurisdictions. SECTION III. ELECTRONIC MONITORING FEES The rate for electronic monitoring for prisoners held by Douglas County is $23.00 per day. The rate for electronic monitoring for prisoners held by other jurisdictions is $28.00 per day. SECTION IV. EFFECTIVE DATE This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication.
