The purpose of this document is to provide users of the Douglas County Forest with an understanding of the Access Management Plan and to assist staff with the Douglas County Forestry Department (DCFD) in implementing the Plan. Included is a summary of the Plan’s progression from early development to implementation under the direction of the six-member working group composed of DCFD and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources staff. This document supplements Chapter 700 of the Douglas County Forest Comprehensive Land-Use Plan 2006-2020.
