ADDENDUM NO. 1 TO INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR CITY OF DOUGLAS SALT SAND PROJECT TO: Prospective Bidders FROM: Blake Palmer, Streets and Alleys Supervisor DATE: October 30, 2023 SUBJECT: Addendum No. 1 This Addendum No. 1 forms a part of the contract documents and modifies the original bid documents dated October 2023, as noted below. Bidders shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum No. 1 in the space provided on the Bid Form. Failure to do so may subject the Bidder to disqualification. This Addendum consists of 2 pages. Changes to Bid Documents: 1. This addendum adds another bid item for winter concrete work and a line to provide your availability for the winter work please replace Page 10 in the bid package with the following.. The City’s intent is to Build the Salt Sand Building as designed and specified in the most economical way posable, with that thought in mind I set a late completion date so the work could be done in the spring without the added cost of concrete protection during the winter. However, I would like the building as soon as possible so I am not losing any more product.
