CITY OF DOUGLAS PRESS RELEASE FORM 1 Project Name: Pearson Drive Mill and Overlay Project Project Manager: Nick Larsen Date: 03-22-2023 Press Release No.: Please provide three to five major points describing the “project” (project, equipment, or vehicle). 1. The first point should be an overview of the project, or What the project consists of. 2. Use two to four more points to include information such as: Who is in charge or which department; When the project will begin; Where the project will be or be used; Why the city is moving forward with the project; Other key information, such as road closures, costs, and if this project is being completed using 5th penny tax dollars. 3. The final point should be a When the project will end and be in use by the City or useable by the public. Point #1 The project is bound by West Yellowstone Hwy and Carver Lane. The project consists of milling and overlaying the existing asphalt on Pearson Drive. Point #2 The Public Works Department and City Engineer worked collaboratively on the design of the project and will oversee the construction of the project. Point #3 The project construction is anticipated to begin in late May to early June 2023 and last approximately 2 months. The project will be complete by June 30th, 2023 Point #4 The project will rehabilitate the asphalt from Carver Lane to W. Yellowstone Hwy. Point #5 The project is projected to be complete by June 30, 2023
