City of Douglas – Sealed Bids for Gun Safes 2019 Page 1 of 2 CITY OF DOUGLAS BID INFORMATION GUN SAFES FOR SALE BY MEANS OF SEALED BIDS The City of Douglas, Wyoming is seeking Sealed Bids for the sale of three Gun Safes: one Liberty 24-gun safe; and one Winchester 12-gun safe; and one Cannon 12-gun safe; all are in good condition. Interested parties must provide a sealed offer(s) to bid, including the purchase price and proposed means of removal of awarded safe(s) from Douglas City Hall. Removal of safes must occur by March 31, 2019, and only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Sealed bids must be clearly marked “City of Douglas Gun Safe” and include the manufacturer’s name (e.g. Liberty, Winchester, or Cannon). A separate sealed bid is required for each item. Bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. local time on February 13, 2019, and read immediately thereafter in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 101 N. 4th St., Douglas, WY. Fax or e-mail submittals will not be accepted. Submittals received after the deadline will be returned unopened. Proposals are to be delivered to Douglas City Hall, Attn: City Clerk, 101 N. 4th Street, or mailed to P.O. Box 1030, Douglas, Wyoming 82633. The City of Douglas reserves the right to reject any and all submittals. Contact the Douglas Police Department at [PHONE REDACTED] for additional information. Successful bidders will be determined by Douglas City Council during the February 25, 2019 regular Council meeting. Successful and unsuccessful bidders will be notified in writing of Council’s decision.
