Douglas is a vibrant, dynamic community that serves as a shining star among Wyoming’s small towns. As our community looks to the future and adapts to a rapidly changing world, we’re guided by a commitment to innovation and opportunity. This is why the city is launching a comprehensive planning process to bring the future to the present. Join us in shaping the future of our community! The Process Over the course of Spring 2024, the city will be working alongside the community to develop an ambitious, yet attainable, “blueprint” to guide our city forward. No, this will not be your traditional 100-page comprehensive plan that collects dust on the shelf and contains more fluff than focus. From Planning to Action In the end, the Douglas Blueprint will work in conjunction with the Strategic Doing that the city initiated in fall of 2023. We will bridge our community’s vision and values with actionable implementation strategies that inform the Strategic Doing now and into the future.
