Demonstrative units will not be accepted or considered in the bid proposal. Bid should include the option of an allowance for trade-in of one 1996 Ford F150 4X4 extended cab pickup. Details and specifications may be obtained by contacting the Public Works Department, 420 W . Grant, Douglas, Wyoming 82633-2153 , or online at http://www.cityofdouglas.org/bids.aspx . Bids received after the specified hour will not be accepted. Delivery will be accepted 120 days after notice of award , F.O.B. Douglas, Wyoming. A Bid Bond or Letter of Credit of 5% will be required at the time the bid is opened. All complete bids must be firm F.O.B. the City of Douglas, Public Works Department, 420 West Grant, Douglas, Wyoming 82633-2153. Tax Exempt Certificate will be furnished by the City of Douglas. All bids must be clearly marked Two New 2016, 3/4 ton pickup trucks with the bidder’s name and the time and date of the opening on the outside of the envelope. The City of Douglas is letting bids for two new 2016 3/4 Ton Pickup Trucks. The City of Douglas is requesting a bid with a trade-in of one 1996 F150 4X4 extended ca b pickup VIN # 1FTEX14N0TKA40245. The trade-in vehicle may be inspected by notifying the Public Works Department , 420 W . Grant Street , Douglas, Wyoming 82633-2153, telephone [PHONE REDACTED]. The specifications are to cover Two New 2016, 3/4 Ton Pickup Truck s. The purpose and intent of this document is to specify the purchase of Two New 2016, 3/4 Ton 4X4 Pickup Trucks with Gas Engines. Any model bid shall meet or exceed the prescribed requirements. It is unacceptable to add or change components and/or materials to a unit or lesser design capability, in order, to meet these requirements. The bidder shall indicate his compliance with a “Yes” or non-compliance with a “No” in each line item specification. Where submitted literature does not support the meeting of these specifications, the bidder shall outline fully on company letterhead stationary the variation from specification. These are the minimum specifications for these units; you must meet or exceed these specifications. If indication (no) is marked to any specifications, you must provide on a separate sheet of paper an explanation of the item that you would supply in place of the specified item. Any item not marked may result in rejection of the bid. SCOPE: The trucks being specified will be used within the City of Douglas and will be assigned specifically to the Landfill Dept. Halogen headlamps. TWO Motorola mobile radios model CM200d, VHF 4 channel 45 watt with an antenna & cable setup for roof mounting. Radios are to be programed to the city’s Public Works frequency of 155.085. Each radio will be programed to turn off & on with the ignition key one radio is to be delivered with each truck but will be installed by the city. XIII. MANUALS Complete manuals for engine operation, truck cab & chassis operation shall be with the truck at time of delivery. IV. WARRANTY Warranty on cab and chassis shall be minimum 3 years or 36,000 miles, which ever comes first. Warranty on cab and chassis shall cover all parts and labor for the mechanical and electrical items and be applied to cab and chassis only, a copy of the warranty shall be with the truck at the time of delivery.
