CITY OF DOUGLAS PRESS RELEASE FORM 1 Project Name: Clearfield Water Storage Tank Vent Replacement Project Manager: Nick Larsen Date: 08-11-2021 Press Release No.: Please provide three to five major points describing the “project” (project, equipment, or vehicle). 1. The first point should be an overview of the project, or What the project consists of. 2. Use two to four more points to include information such as:  Who is in charge or which department;  When the project will begin;  Where the project will be or be used;  Why the city is moving forward with the project;  Other key information, such as road closures, costs, and if this project is being completed using 5th penny tax dollars. 3. The final point should be a When the project will end and be in use by the City or useable by the public. Point #1 The project consists of removing and replacing the exhaust vent on top of the Clearfield Water Storage Tank. Point #2 The Public Works Department and City Engineer worked collaboratively on the design of the project and will oversee the construction of the project. Point #3 The project is anticipated to be begin in the late summer to early fall and last no longer than 45 days and will not little to no impact on the surround community. Point #4 The project will being the Clearfield Water Storage Tank into compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency. Point #5 The project will be completed before December 31, 2021
