AB - 1 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the City of Douglas – N. 2nd Street Improvements Project will be received at Douglas City Hall at 101 North 4th Street, PO Box 1030, Douglas WY until 2:00 P.M. MST on February 18th, 2025, and then will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any Bids received after the specified date and time will not be accepted or considered. The N. 2nd Street Improvements Project generally consists of replacing the aging water main in N. 2nd Street between Clay Street West and Twin Bridges Road. Additionally, the project includes replacing the existing storm sewer at the north and south sides of the Antelope Creek Bridge, curb and gutter replacement, concrete sidewalks, driveway approaches, and valley gutters, and then a full depth reconstruction of asphalt roadway between Clay Street West and Twin Bridges Road. The project includes approximately 780LF of 8-inch DR18 C900 PVC water main, 315LF of 16-inch DR18 C900 PVC water main, and 320 feet of class III RCP storm sewer. A prebid conference will be held at Douglas Public Works on February 6th, 2025 at 2:00 P.M.. Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Each Bid must be submitted on the Bid Form, accompanied by Bid security, as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders, payable to the City of Douglas (OWNER) in an amount not less than five percent of the amount Bid. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional Bond(s) for the faithful performance of the Work, as prescribed in the Bidding Documents. To perform public work, the Successful Bidder and Subcontractors, prior to contract award, shall hold or obtain such licenses as required by State Statutes, federal and local laws, and regulations.
