Page 1 of 9 CITY OF DOUGLAS BID INFORMATION – TABLETS AND HARDWARE Sealed bids will be received until 2:30 p.m., on the 2nd day of December, 2015, at the office of the City Clerk and will be read the same day in the Council Chambers of the City Hall Building at 101 North 4th Street, Douglas, Wyoming, for ruggedized tablets with ruggedized keyboards, docking stations and mounting stands and armrest or cage mounts for printers, to include extended warranty and installation at Douglas for the purpose of implementation of a digital ticketing application in police vehicles. Bids received after the specified hour will not be accepted. Delivery will be accepted within 90 days after notice of award, F.O.B. Douglas, Wyoming. A Bid Bond or Letter of Credit of 5% of total project will be required at the time the bid is opened. The City of Douglas reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in any bid received and accept any bid which best serves the interest of the City of Douglas. The City of Douglas is letting bids for 21 ruggedized tablets, mounting solutions and installation. The specifications are to cover ruggedized tablets, docking and mounting hardware, adapters and connectors as needed, printer mounting hardware and installation of all for the expressed purpose and capability of implementing eCitation issuance, using tablets, in 21 police vehicles. The eCitation software, interfaces and printers for electronic citation implementation will be purchased under separate bid. The purpose and intent of this document is to specify the purchase of 21 ruggedized tablets and all docking and mounting hardware for tablets and printers for eCitation implementation for the Douglas Police Department. Any application bid shall meet or exceed the prescribed requirements. Implementation will require the use of tablets. The department will require ruggedized tablets for (21) twenty-one police vehicles, including keyboards, power supply adapters, docking and mounting hardware, armrest or cage mounting hardware for the printers that will be purchased under separate bid, and installation of these items in police patrol vehicles on site in Douglas, Wyoming. Each bid package submitted will have a brochure or specification sheet or independent lab testing sheet included for the proposed tablet, with the proposed items highlighted that are included in the bid.
