ADDENDUM NO. 2 Date: September 19, 2022 TO THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS for construction of the CITY OF DOUGLAS, WYOMING – Replacing the roof on City Hall To All Planholders and/or Prospective Bidders: The following changes, additions, and/or deletions are hereby made a part of the Contract Documents for the construction of the CITY OF DOUGLAS, WYOMING – City Hall roof replacement project dated September 2022, as fully and completely as if the same were fully set forth therein: CITY OF DOUGLAS CALL FOR BIDS A. Scope of Coverage: Repair leaks in the roofing system caused by: a. Ordinary wear and tear of the elements. b. Manufacturing defect in Firestone brand materials. c. Defective workmanship used to install these materials. d. Damage due to winds up to 55 mph. PART 2 PRODUCTS 2.01 MANUFACTURERS A. Acceptable Manufacturer - Roofing System: Firestone Building Products Co. www.firestonebpco.com. 2.02 ROOFING SYSTEM DESCRIPTION A. Roofing System: 1. Membrane: Self Adhering Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO). 2. Thickness: 60 mil 3. Membrane Attachment: Self adhered. 4. Comply with applicable local building code requirements. B. Cover Board: Cover Board: 1. Maximum Thickness: 0.5 inch (12.7mm). QUALITY ASSURANCE A. Applicator Qualifications: Roofing installer shall have the following: 1. Current Firestone Master Contractor status. 2. At least ten years of experience installing specified system. FIELD QUALITY CONTROL A. Inspection by Manufacturer: Provide final inspection of the roofing system by a Technical Representative employed by roofing system manufacturer specifically to inspect installation for warranty purposes not a sales rep). B. Perform all corrections necessary for issuance of warranty. Note – Equivalent manufactures will be excepted as long as they meet all warranty requirements and manufacture inspected.
