All bidders are expected to thoroughly examine each item enumerated herein, regardless of its apparent application and shall be responsible for furnishing all labor and materials required in the division of work that the items indicate. I. BID LETTING DATE/TIME CHANGE A. Sealed Bids for the City of Douglas – Richards Street Improvements Project will be received at Douglas City Hall, 101 North 4th Street, until 1:00 P.M. MST on October 22nd, 2025, and then will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any Bids received after the specified date and time will not be accepted or considered. II. SECTION I – CLARIFICATIONS A. HDPE storm pipe shall be dual wall, corrugated, smooth interior pipe. B. Curbwalk will not be allowed. C. All disturbed area shall be seeded with a minimum of 2-inches of topsoil. Final quantities are to be determined by the contractor. D. Per Detail 4 and 5 on Sheet 3, and per Section 01025 – Measurement and Payment – an 18-inch asphalt patch will be required adjacent to all new curb and gutter installation. E. Per Detail 1 and 2 on Sheet 4, and per Section 01025 – Measurement and Payment – an 18-inch asphalt patch will be required adjacent to all concrete approaches or aprons. F. Cold weather concrete placement shall be in accordance with Wyoming Public Works Standard Specifications Section 03310 - Concrete Work, Paragraph 3.03. ---PAGE BREAK--- 3 Addendum No. 1 III. SECTION II – PROJECT MANUAL A. DELETE the following DBE related sections from the project manual: i) DBE Participation Clause ii) DBE Certifications – E91 Form iii) DBE Regula Dealer/Distributor Affirmation Form B. Bid Schedule: DELETE existing BID SCHEDULE and REPLACE with the attached BID SCHEDULE – ADDENDUM 1 C. Section 01025 – Measurement and Payment: DELETE “Concrete Paving/flatwork” Section from MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT and REPLACE with the following: Concrete Drive Aisle Section SY Includes all costs for placing the concrete flatwork in the areas shown in the drawing including 6-inches of concrete over 4- inches of grading base, subgrade preparation, base course for bedding, compacting, formwork, reinforcement, concrete, finishing, backfilling, and final grading complete.
