AB - 1 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) Supply and Delivery of Cast Iron Slide Gates 1) Invitation to Bid Sealed Bids for Five New Specified 18-inch Cast Iron Slide Gates and One New Specified 24-inch Cast Iron Slide Gate will be received at Douglas City Hall at 101 North 4th Street, until 2:00 P.M. MST on February 26th, 2025, and then will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any Bids received after the specified date and time will not be accepted or considered. 2) Project Overview The City of Douglas is soliciting bids from qualified suppliers for the procurement and delivery of six cast iron slide gates as specified in the RFP. These gates will be used for a municipal water infrastructure project and must meet all relevant industry standards and specifications. Specifically, American Water Works Association (AWWA) C560 Cast Iron Slide Gates 3) Scope of Work The selected vendor shall provide: • Five new 18-inch cast iron slide gates • One new 24-inch cast iron slide gate • Delivery to the City of Douglas Water Treatment Plant, 420 West Grant Street, Douglas, WY 82633 • All necessary documentation, including warranty information and compliance certifications. 4) Bid Requirements Bidders must submit a complete proposal including: • A completed bid form • Detailed product specifications and compliance certifications • Estimated delivery timeline • Total cost, including itemized pricing and any applicable fees or taxes • Warranty and service information 5) Evaluation Criteria Bids will be evaluated based on the following criteria: • Compliance with the technical specifications • Price competitiveness • Delivery schedule • Vendor reputation and references • Warranty and post-sale support 6) Submission Instructions Sealed bids must be clearly marked as “Bid for Cast Iron Slide Gates” and submitted to: City of Douglas ---PAGE BREAK--- AB - 2 Attn: City Clerk 101 N. 4th Street Douglas, WY 82633 Bids may also be mailed to: City of Douglas Attn: City Clerk P.O.
