Chapter 1.24, Page 73 1.24 SELF-ORGANIZED COUNTY THE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF DOUGLAS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. AUTHORITY This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to the authority provided under Section 59.10(1) of the Wisconsin Statutes. SECTION II. SELF-ORGANIZED COUNTY Under the authority of this Ordinance, Douglas County hereby becomes a self- organized county as authorized by Section 59.01(1) of the Wisconsin Statutes, together with all the powers and authority as therein set forth. SECTION III. EFFECTIVE DATE This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication. A certified copy of this Ordinance shall immediately be filed thereafter with the Secretary of State.
