Chapter 4.12, Page 19 4.12 SALE OF INTOXICATING LIQUOR OR FERMENTED MALT BEVERAGES TO UNDERAGE PERSONS THE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF DOUGLAS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. PURPOSE/VIOLATION No person may: A. Sell, furnish, procure or give intoxicating liquor or fermented malt beverages to or with a person under age; 21 not accompanied by his or her parent, guardian or spouse who has attained legal drinking age; B. Traffic or deal in intoxicating liquor or fermented malt beverages to or with a person under age 21 not accompanied by his or her parent, guardian or spouse who has attained legal drinking age. SECTION II. PENALTY A person who commits a violation of this ordinance is subject to a forfeiture of up to $500.00 for the first or second violation, or a subsequent violation committed more than 30 months after a previous violation; and up to $1,000.00 for a violation committed within 30 months after two or more previous violations, except that disposition in proceedings against a person under 21 years of age, the date of disposition shall be as provided by '48.344.
