COMMITMENT TO THE VICTIM The Office of the District Attorney is committed to honoring the Crime Victims’ Bill of Rights by offering available services to all victims of crimes arising under the jurisdiction of the Superior Court of Douglas County. Consistent with this commitment, the Douglas County District Attorney pronounces that it is the policy of this Office to provide any such services without regard to the race, color, age, nationality, religion, sex, political affiliation, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, ability to speak English, medical condition, disability, immigration status, or the legal emancipation or dependency of the victims. This policy is hereby established and is in compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations pertaining to non- discrimination.
