*NOTICE TO VOTING PUBLIC* Precint Lines/Polling Place Changes Effective January 12, 2024 Due to current polling location challenges and the projected future growth affecting increased voting numbers, please be advised the Board of Elections & Registration has voted at their October 19, 2023 regular meeting to make the following changes to better serve the voters of Dawson County: (References: Code section §21-2-261 & §21-2-265) Precinct Line Moves: 1. Move precinct lines to align with the Board of Commission & Board of Education District lines, increasing precincts from three to four 2. West – District 1 Central – District 2 East – District 3 South – District 4 - There will be voters moved into different precincts, due to this change. - Precinct cards will be sent to all affected voters in January 2024 notifying of precinct and polling place information. Also, visit My Voter Page www.mvp.sos.ga.gov to retrieve your particular voting information for each election. Polling Place Moves: 1. West & Central precinct voters will vote at: Board of Elections Office @ 96 Academy Avenue Dawsonville, GA 30534 2. East & South precinct voters will vote at: Rock Creek Park @ 445 Martin Rd.
