Dawson County Long Range Planning Committee Meeting Wednesday, 19th November 2025 @ 15:00hrs Draft Minutes – Approved on 1/28/2026 – Attendance Committee Members: Emily Bagwell, Tiffany George Georgia, Corey Gutherie, Jane Graves, Steve Pawlick, Shannan Stanford County Officials/Staff: Richard Osborne (Community Development Director) Guests: Sydney McDaniel Approval of Minutes • There was no quorum an no minutes from the October meeƟng. The September minutes were unanimously approved (moƟon – Jane G; seconded – Emily Housekeeping • The following meeƟng dates were agreed for 2026 – 4th Wednesday of each month @ 3 pm. Except of May (because of Memorial Day) November (because of Thanksgiving) and December (because of Christmas) when our meeƟng will take place on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Jan 28; Feb 25; Mar 25; Apr 22; May 20; Jun 24; Jul 22; Aug 26; Sep 23; Oct 28; Nov 18; Dec 16. Old Business • AddiƟonal amendments were agreed to be added to the update of our bylaws. Emily will prepare a final version for approval at our January 2026 meeƟng. • Discussion re selecƟng from the consultant’s 2024 Tree and Landscape ordinance to upgrade and clarify the county’s exisƟng standards. Richard O. tasked the commitee with emailing their suggesƟons to him prior to our January 2026 meeƟng.
