Dawson County Parks and Recreation Refund Policy REVISED: March 31, 2022 Dawson County Parks and Recreation hereby implements the following refund policy: Any activity or reservation cancelled by DCPR will be refunded in full or credit given towards another available sport, activity, event or facility rental. Sports Registration Fees – No refunds will be granted, except in the event of injury, prior to the first game and which prevents the player from participating for the remainder of the season. Requests for refunds in these circumstances must be accompanied by a doctor’s certification of injury. Eligible refunds may be assessed a $10 administrative fee and cost of the uniform and equipment for the sport. Refunds may be granted in the form of a credit for future registration fees, classes and other activities. Classes, Camps, and other Activities – Refunds for classes, camps, and any other activity where the registration payment was made to an entity other than Dawson County Parks & Recreation is to be discussed with that entity. Dawson County Parks & Recreation cannot approve refunds for activities for which payment was not made directly to DCPR. Facility Rentals – Changes and cancellations made within 48 hours of the rental date will result in a $10.00 service fee charge plus 10% of total rental fee. Changes or cancellations made outside of this window will result in a $10.00 service fee charge, which will be deducted from the overall refund amount. Campsite Reservations – Changes and cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled arrival date will result in a $10.00 service fee charge and forfeiture of the first night’s reservation fee. Changes or cancellations made outside of this window will result in a $10.00 service fee charge, which will be deducted from the overall refund amount. Failure to arrive at the campsite on the scheduled arrival date without prior cancellation of the reservation will result in forfeiture of the first nights use fee. NO EXCEPTIONS!
