DAWSON COUNTY BUSINESS LICENSE FEE SCHEDULE UPDATE Effective Date: October 1st, 2025 Approved by the Dawson County Board of Commissioners Notice of Updated Fee Schedule In accordance with Ordinance Section 30-169 – Fee Schedule, the Dawson County Board of Commissioners has approved a new business license fee schedule based on each business’s gross annual income. Please review the updated fee structure below and determine the appropriate category for your business. This fee will be due at the time of your business license renewal or application. 2025 Fee Schedule Estimated Gross Annual Income Fee Amount $250.00 $650.00 $1,050.00 Tier 1: $1 – $249,999 Tier 2: $250,000 – $999,000 Tier 3:$1,000,000 – $2,499,000 Tier 4:$2,500,000 and above $2,050.00 Note: The IRS defines gross income as total sales and revenue minus the cost of goods sold (COGS), plus any additional income from investments or other sources.
