Dawson County Long Range Planning Committee Meeting Wednesday, April 23th 2025 3:00 PM (15.00 hrs) County Administrative Bldg. 2nd Floor Training Room, Dawsonville Proposed Agenda Approval of Minutes: February 26th and March 26, 2025 meetings. Old Business · LRPC by-laws update · Continuing discussion of potential updates/changes/modifications to county’s Residential Rezoning Regulations (these will not affect those rezoning applications already filed and being considered). Updates to Section 121 (Land Use) to be considered; changes made here may also need clarifying in Sec. 117 (Overlay); Sec. 129 (Signs); and Sec. 133 (Subdivisions). Other 2025 LRPC Projects: · Continue with updating GA 400 Overlay and lay the groundwork for a Hwy 53 Overlay · Update Tree and Landscape Ordinance · Status of potential County/Chamber/Stakeholder/GDOT information exchange between and among stakeholders particularly as these relate to GA · Continue to monitor the status of Atlanta Tract (10,000 acres/WMA). · Monitor HB 374 (2025) re: rental housing data management (includes STRs) – April 2025 = In Recess
