Contact the Planning & Development department for specific requirements for your event and to obtain the Special Event Business License Application packet. Special Event Business Licenses REQUIRE the Board of Commissioners approval when the event is outside of normal business activity. Does Your Event or Will Your Event: Charge Admission, a Ticket or a Tour? YES You need to apply for a Special Event Business License NO You do not need to apply for a Special Event Business License Have total sq. ft. of temporary tent structure(s) that exceed 1,000 sq. ft.? YES You need to apply for a Special Event Business License NO You do not need to apply for a Special Event Business License Have individually licensed food vendors? YES You need to apply for a Special Event Business License NO You do not need to apply for a Special Event Business License Have adequate parking on-site to serve total number of anticipated vehicles based upon anticipated attendance?
