Timing starts when the candidate tells the evaluator he is ready to start. TASK POSSIBLE POINTS POINTS AWARDED COMMENTS The firefighter shall identify nine of the following: 1. Beam or Rail 1 2. Bed or Base Section 1 3. Butt or Heel 1 4. Butt Spurs 1 5. Fly Section 1 6. Guides 1 7. Halyard 1 8. Pawls (maybe called Dogs or Locks) 1 9. Pulley 1 10. Rungs 1 11. Stops 1 12. Tip or Top 1 Total points possible 12 Candidate must achieve a total of 9 points to pass this station and be awarded all points in the shaded, bold areas. Unacceptable performance, or failure to complete any task in the shaded, bold areas constitutes a failure of the station. No partial points shall be awarded. 02/20/2003
