2018 CORTLAND COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT SPECIFICATIONS AND BID FORMS OIL AND LUBRICANTS The bid shall be in conformance with the terms and conditions specified in the Advertisement for Bids, and shall also be in conformance with the following specifications. Specifications: All oil and lubricants shall meet the industry specifications listed with each bid item on the bid forms. All motor oil bids are to be based on delivery in 55-gallon returnable containers, except as noted. All oil containers shall be clearly labeled with the product name and designation. Unlabeled containers will not be accepted. All bids are to be f.o.b. Cortland County Highway Department Garage, Traction Drive, Cortland, New York. The Contractor shall deliver the specified oil or lubricant in the quantities so ordered within four calendar days of receiving a written order from the County. The Contractor must offer engineering service when requested, including testing and analysis of used motor oil. The quantities listed are estimates only and actual quantities desired may increase or decrease based on the actual needs. Bids must include pricing for all bid items in order to be deemed an acceptable responsive bid. The award of this bid shall be to a single bidder for all of the oils and lubricants listed. All bids shall include all items listed in the “Checklist of documents for submission” found on page 1 of the Cortland County Standard Contract - 2018.
