REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) TWO-YEAR TERM FOR ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES The Highway Committee of the Cortland County Legislature, Cortland, New York will receive sealed proposals until 2:00 p.m. on or before November 28, 2016, at the Cortland County Highway Department for the following services: On-call engineering services related to County highway/bridge and landfill/recycling design. Proposal description, including possible task assignments and proposal requirements are available on the Cortland County Highway Department Website at the following web address: http://www.cortland-co.org/Bids.aspx?BidID=3 Each proposal package shall be clearly marked with “Proposal – Two-Year Term for Engineering Design Services”. Proposals may be hand delivered to the Highway Department Office at the location mentioned above beginning at 8:00 a.m. local time on the due date until the time of opening the proposals. Proposals may be sent using regular mail to the following address: Cortland County Highway Department 60 Central Avenue Cortland, NY 13045 Proposals may also be shipped “overnight” to the following address: Cortland County Highway Department 4267 Traction Drive Cortland, NY 13045 Proposals that are mailed using regular mail must be received in the regular Highway Department mail delivery on the day of the bid opening. Proposals that are shipped “overnight” must be received by 1:00 p.m. local time on the day of the opening. Proposals received after the described times will not be opened or considered, and will be returned to the proposer. It is the responsibility of the Proposer to check the above listed Website for Addenda to the proposal requirements. The final date for posting Addenda to the Website will be 5 working days prior to the due date. Questions regarding the proposal requirements may be directed to Mr. Philip T.
