Since 1969 the Cortland County Mental Health Clinic has been providing the residents of Cortland County with a broad range of mental health services. We have a proud tradition of excellence and an outstanding track record of service in the last 40 years. Our Clinicians are required to continually train and educate themselves on the most current and relevant methods of We have an excellent staff that is committed to making your experience with us as pleasant as possible. FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES FSS Offers flexible, individualized programming that builds on the of families, and strives to empower families by enhancing the ability of the family to function as a unit within the community and to prevent out of home placement. The services offered by FSS are planned group respite, individual (One-on-One) respite, parent support and education groups, TEAM Parents Program (intensive in-home parenting services) and advocacy services. CLINIC HOURS The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm. However, additional hours can be arranged to suit emergency needs. AFTER HOURS Cortland Regional Medical Center provides 24 hour community outpatient services. They can be reached at [PHONE REDACTED]. Cortland Regional Medical Center handles all of Cortland County Mental Health Clinic’s after hours emergency services. ADDITIONAL SERVICES Additional services provided by the Cortland County Mental Health Clinic include Prevention Services for Youth, Family Support Services, Single Point of Access, and the Horizon House Day Treatment Program. GROUPS The Cortland County Mental Health Clinic offers specialized treatment groups for men who have been domestically violent, parenting, adult and adolescent dialectical behavior therapy, and the treatment and education of people who have sexually offended. The Wellness - Self management group will begin in the summer of 2011. HORIZON HOUSE A group focused clinical program that offers a variety of interventions and educational experiences for people whose lives have been impacted by a severe and enduring mental illness. This program helps clients to enhance their life skills, clinical stability and general functioning. Each person enrolled in the program receives individualized evaluation, treatment planning and services and is assigned a primary therapist.
