Cortland County Department of Fire and Emergency Management 60 Central Avenue Cortland, NY 13045 [PHONE REDACTED] POLICY STATEMENT 200 – 004 BROADCAST OF ANNOUNCEMENTS January 1st, 2009 PURPOSE: To establish a procedure for the transmission of the fire service announcements. POLICY: 1. The announcements will be broadcast daily at 17:50 hours 2. Coordinators’ Tones will be activated each day 3. Home Monitor tones will be activated only for those departments having announcements to be broadcast 4. FITCC tones shall be activated for the FITCC announcements 5. Units out of service are to be broadcast prior to the announcements being read 6.
