200-005 Broadcast of Announcements Effective Date: 1/1/09 Reference: Policy was revised to reflect County Tone is used every day but Wednesday for Announcements. Next Review: Modified Date: 10/25/16 CLASSIFICATION : POLICY STATEMENT Issued By: Scott Roman, Fire Coordinator Purpose: To establish a procedure for the transmission of the fire service announcements. Policy: 1. The announcements will be broadcast daily at 17:50 hours 2. The All County Tone will be activated each day 3. Announcements shall be announced in an alphabetical order by Department with announcements for the entire County being announced first followed by the individual departments. 4. Units out of service are to be broadcast prior to the announcements being read 5. All Home Monitors will be activated on Wednesdays regardless of announcement status ISSUED BY FIRE COORDINATOR Scott Roman
