NYS MODULE 1 Orientation GOAL The candidate shall describe the requirements for successful completion of the course and be properly registered for the course. OBJECTIVES At the completion of this module the candidate shall: 1. Describe the requirements for the course. a. Number of units. b. Total Length of course. c. General topics covered. d. Candidate manual/workbook policy. e. Starting time of units. f. Candidate attendance. 2. State the testing policy governing this course. a. All testing is mandatory. b. Mid-term and final exam given. Must pass with a 70% passing score c. Each candidate will demonstrate competency on all skills in course in order to pass. 3. Give an overview of course content. a. Classroom sessions. b. Skills performance. c. Written testing. d. Live Burn evolutions. 4. Complete registration. a. Registration cards. b. Manual/workbook forms.
