Cortland County Regional Training Center (RTC) Use of Facilities Information Scheduling : Please visit www.cortlandcountyfire.org to view the Online Training Calendar and to fill out the RTC Use Request Form. Please be sure to indicate all needs that you will require to conduct your meeting or training. All requests for use of the training facility will come on a first come, first serve basis upon receipt of the completed request form. By reserving the RTC, the agency/organization acknowledges that all members /attendees will follow the procedures and guidelines set forth in this document. Failure to comply with the guidelines set forth in this document may result in the ability to use the facility. About the Facility : The classroom can hold 40 attendees. There is a desktop computer with Microsoft Office products installed, a projector and screen set up for use. There is also the availability to plug a laptop in via HDMI. There is WiFi available. A commercial coffee pot with coffee, coffee condiments and cups are provided for your use. There is a water fountain with water bottle refill station as well. A microwave and refrigerator are available. Food may be brought in for or by attendees. If you will be having a catered meal, please note this on the RTC Use Request Form so tables may be set up appropriately. Directions to the Facility: When providing directions to attendees please use 3577 Terrace Road, Cortland, NY 13045 and state that it is next to the Cortlandville Town Hall. ---PAGE BREAK--- Parking: Please refer to the parking map below. The green areas are where attendees should park. The yellow is for overflow parking only, when the all the areas in green are full. Attendees SHALL NOT park in the red areas. Please share parking instructions with your attendees. Upon Agency Arrival: A representative from Cortland County Emergency Response & Communications will meet with lead for the reserving agency to make sure all needs are met and any policies or procedures are reviewed. Classroom: At no time may anything be taped to the painted walls. Smoking / Drugs & Alcohol : This is a tobacco free property. If someone would like to smoke they would need to do so off the property of the Cortlandville Fire Department and Cortland County Regional Training Center. This includes the parking lot. Any person operating at the RTC under the influence of, or possessing illegal drugs or alcohol will be immediately expelled from the grounds and their agency notified. Condition of Facility Upon Completion: All areas used will be returned to the condition in which they were found unless specific direction otherwise has been received from the office of Emergency Response & Communications. ---PAGE BREAK--- All RTC owned equipment shall be returned to the appropriate storage area. The reserving agency is responsible for ensuring that all equipment is cleaned and serviced. Any agency returning equipment in an unserviceable condition will be billed for the cleaning/repair costs. Any damage to the facilities or noted depletion of supplies shall be reported to the Facility Contacts below. Notice of Emergency Evacuation: The RTC also serves as an emergency operations center for Cortland County. In an emergency you may be asked to relocate or vacate the building. Fire Service Training: For all fire service training, including department led, every student must provide a completed DHSES/OFPC Training Authorization Letter (current edition) that can be found at www.cortlandcountyfire.org. This form must have original signatures and initials. Classroom attire shall consist of Pants/shorts, full length short or long sleeve shirt, closed toe shoes/sneakers with socks. Any item deemed to be inappropriate or offensive shall not be worn. Students/participants shall have appropriate personal protective equipment available which will be properly worn during training evolutions.
