2017 CORTLAND COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT SPECIFICATIONS AND BID SHEET CRUSHED STONE The bid shall be in conformance with the terms and conditions specified in the Advertisement for Bids, and shall also be in conformance with the following specifications. Specifications: Crushed Stone shall conform to NYSDOT specifications of September 1, 2015, as amended, for material specification 703-02, coarse aggregate. Material bid shall be produced at an operating source approved by the NYSDOT and must be found on the NYSDOT approved list. Items calling for a mixture of two sizes shall consist of approximately fifty percent of each size or as ordered by the County Highway Superintendent. Bid prices shall be per ton f.o.b. County Highway Department truck at bidders plant. The duration of the contract shall be for one year, with the option to renew for up to Three additional one year periods at the agreement of both parties. Bids must have all items denoted in the “Checklist of documents to be returned with contract” attached. These items can be found in the Standard Clauses for NY State Contracts document and shall be considered a required submission for this bid.
