County Attorney Title County of Cortland lown Village Date: August 15th, 2003 ---PAGE BREAK--- LOCAL LAW NO. 4 FOR THE YEAR 2003 EXTEND TILE TIME PROVIDED TO 20 DAYS FOR REVIEW OF THE TENTATIVE BUDGET WHEREAS, New York State County Law §357 allows the County Legislature to extend or reduce the time provided for review ofthe tentative budget and the filing ofthe report thereon, provided that in no event shall such time for such review and the fding of such report be reduced to less than ten days or extended to more than twenty days, and WHEREAS, the Cortland County Legislature would like the Budget and Finance Committee to have more time for the review of the tentative budget, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CORTLAND COUNTY LEGISLATURE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Cortland County Legislature hereby extends the time provided for review of the tentative budget to 20 days.
