CORTLAND COUNTY 60 Central Avenue Cortland NY 13045 County Legislative Committees Restructured Boyden’s Appointment as Chair Requires New Appointments CORTLAND – With the April 23 appointment of Donnell Boyden (LD8) as Chair of the Legislature, Boyden’s previous committee seats must be filled. These appointments are made by the Chair, and Boyden announced the changes Wednesday. Boyden had previously served on the County’s Building & Grounds Committee, Highway Committee and Budget & Finance Committee. Legislator Joseph Steinhoff (LD12) will become Chair of the Highway Committee. He had previously served as Vice Chair. Charles Sudbrink (LD17) will replace Boyden’s seat on the committee. Legislator Susan Briggs (LD11) will replace Boyden on the Budget & Finance Committee. Legislator Luke Snyder (LD5) will replace Boyden on the Buildings & Grounds Committee. “I thank these Legislators for lending even more of their time to our County.” Boyden said. “These appointments are well suited for the talents and experience that each legislator possesses.”
