Approval of Agenda March 2024 agenda was approved. Approval of Minutes March 2024 minutes were approved. Friends of the Libraries • See Friends Treasurer Report. Treasurer Report • See Treasurer Report County Library Manager Report • Childrens and YA departments participated in outreach at the Georgia Cyber Academy Family Day and the Opening Evans Market. • Mary Lin provided circulation stats and library updates. • Provided an update about the new “Middle Ground” section. Unfinished Business: Requests for Reconsideration: Requests for Reconsideration: • You Know Me Well by Nina LaCour • A Different Kind of Normal by Abigail Balfe, book has already been reviewed by Library staff and was re-cataloged from Juvenile Non-fiction to Adult Non-fiction with a YA sticker, to note reading level. Reconsiderations being re-reviewed: • The Black Flamingo by Dean Alta • I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson • True You: A Gender Journey by Gwen Agna • New requests for reconsideration for committee o The Bare-Naked Book by Kathy Stinson o Tell Me: by Katharina von der Gathen Mary Lin will inform the board on which titles will be discussed at the May meeting.
